As every photographer knows Instagram is the most famous social media application available today.
In case you don’t know anything about Instagram then It is a photo and video-sharing social networking service founded in 2010.
This application allows users to upload media, they can also browse other users’ content. They can also follow other users to see their posts.
Today Instagram is not only a photo-sharing application. People post videos, reels, etc. There are many shopping pages too on this application.
Still, Instagram is considered one of the main platforms for photo sharing.
Today in this article, I’m sharing some of the best (& my favorites) Creative Indian photographers from Instagram.
I personally follow them to get some good ideas and a real inspiration.
The work uploaded by these creative photographers can help an aspiring one get some inspiration, and know about tricks and tips.
Following these creative Instagram profiles, you can make your scrolling more inspiring than usual.
Every creative photography profile inspires creativity and imagination.
These profiles capture the world around them in a unique manner.
It does not matter whether it is real or created. The pictures on these profiles inspire a large number of creative photographers around the globe and hence have a large number of followers.

Creative Indian Photographers To Follow On Instagram In 2024

Ganesh Vanare aka @haram_khor_ is a Traveller, Street, and daily life photographer.
According to Ganesh “There is no ordinary moment, in fact, there is magic in every moment. All you need to do is just focus and observe.”
Ganesh uses his surroundings to the fullest. His photographs show a unique point of view.
He captures everything from a different angle.
Most of his pictures capture different aspects of people’s life from his point of view.
He can perfectly capture the moment in his photographs.
In addition to being an extraordinary photographer, he is an amazing videographer. Most of his videos are small travel vlogs from all his travels.
He has done brand collaborations with many reputed brands such as JBL, Oppo, Hp, and Myntra. He also received the GoPro award and the Halla award.
Ganesh’s photographs were featured in stories in Mumbai Mirror, BBC, Scoop Whoop, National geographic, Humans of Bombay, and NextShark.
He is available on almost all social networking sites such as telegram, YouTube, Instagram, and OpenSea and even has his website.

Kunal Malhotra also known as @the.photography.blogger is a street and travel photographer.
He describes himself as “Just another photographer trying to capture daily life and people around.”
Candid and street photography are his niche. He captures the moment beautifully.
He experiments with different angles and lights to get a perfect shot.
Common people and their daily lives are his favorite subject. He likes to capture their lives candidly.
Kunal uses his Instagram as a platform to share his photographs, tips, tricks, techniques, and information about different lenses, phone cameras, editing apps, etc.

Vineet Vohra is a renowned street photographer based in New Delhi. He is the most influential street photographer of his generation.
He believes ”Street photography is about that transitory lie that lies behind the truth, its a ‘pause’ button in a live movie, the minute we press the ‘play’ button, every character starts performing again. ”
The surroundings are used in his photographs.
He uses a unique angle that makes his photographs mix up with his surroundings to make both seem like one. This is the basic definition of creative photography.
From his photographs, we can see that he keeps an eye out for chances when he can capture a way to combine different shapes, colors, and forms of ordinary moments and turn them into creative arts using his photography skills.
Vineet is the ambassador for Leica camera and Vivo India.
He is the first Indian photographer in the history of Leica to be the brand ambassador.
‘SERENDIPITY’ is Vineet’s first book that has 160 colorful images which show us an India made of beautifully random contrast.
ADF magazine is a street photography magazine co-founded by Vineet.

Pratik Talreja also famous as @sadak_chap is a street and travel photographer.
He keeps his eye out for any creative and extraordinary shot.
Golden hour is used perfectly in Pratik’s photographs.
He dabbles in street photography too. Pratik captures different people in the marketplace as he travels.
He has his hashtag i.e. #MaiBhiSadakChap which has more than 2.1 million posts under it.
Pratik can be considered an expert in reflection photography judging by all the mirror photos on his Instagram feed.
From time to time he keeps on experimenting with new angles, new settings, new surroundings, and near the gear.
On his Instagram page, you can also see reviews of different smartphone cameras.
He keeps on doing such reviews after a while.
He is a Ted-x speaker (Watch Pratik’s TEDx speech here), who inspires a whole new generation of photographers to move forward and aspire to their dream of a creative photographers or a photographer.
Along with traveling, he is also interested in cars. His interest is mostly peaked by vintage cars.

Mitesh Patil aka @mitz_patil is a travel photographer based in Mumbai.
He uses his surroundings to his advantage to create such creative shots.
Mitesh uses various pieces of equipment like guitar, whisk, and cardboard cutting to create effects in his photographs.
On his Instagram page, he also shares behind the scenes of the capturing of the photograph. He shares many tricks and tips for creative photography.

The concepts of his creative photography are impressive. He has captured an alien invasion shot and dragon shots.
Mitesh mostly uses sunset scenes and lighting to create his photographs.

Photography is growing with time. More and more youngsters are aspiring to be photographers.
Every person today has a smartphone that can be used to capture any moment anywhere.
Today people share the photos that they click on social media apps. One of the popular social media apps in today’s time is Instagram.
Instagram can also be used to promote one’s photography. Now Photography has many genres, one of them being creative photography.
Creative photography is photography that employs different techniques and effects to manipulate and take photographs as per your imagination creatively.
For creative shots, you can play with light, water drops, light flares, and other such ideas.
Shadow play and shooting out of focus can also be considered creative shots.
India is growing with the photography industry. India has too many creative photographers (thanks to covid :D).
